The service
Lekhae is software that helps you create GST invoices and related documents and share them with your customers.
Your account and data
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the details you enter on your invoices.
Subscriptions
Lekhae Pro is an annual plan (currently ₹999/year), billed by Lekhae through our payment provider. It does not auto-renew unless stated; access lasts for the paid period. Email us for any billing issue.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lekhae to create false or fraudulent invoices or for any unlawful purpose.
Not professional advice
Lekhae is a self-service software tool, not an accountant, tax adviser, or legal adviser, and using it does not create any professional or advisory relationship. Nothing in the product or its guides is tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Tax rules (rates, HSN/SAC, place of supply, RCM, e-invoicing thresholds) change and vary by situation. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legal compliance of every invoice, calculation, export and return you generate or rely on, and for verifying it with a qualified chartered accountant before use.
No warranty (“as is”)
The service is provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any calculation or output is correct or compliant for your specific circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lekhae and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any tax, penalty, interest, fine, lost profit, lost data, or business loss, arising from or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, and is zero for free users. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lekhae and its operator from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, the contents of your invoices, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the operator's place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
